We inspect every customer-supplied item before confirming the job. If we cannot identify the material confidently, or believe engraving could damage the object, we may decline it.

Not every surface behaves the same.
Engraving results depend on material, finish and construction. Some metals, coated surfaces, leather, plastics and other materials can engrave beautifully. Others may react unpredictably.
